VXLAN EVPN MP-BGP with 2x N9Ks per site need access in/out of Fabric

Gentlemen, I appreciate your responses to this simple question.

I setup VXLAN EVPN MP-BGP and VXLAN L2 VNI works, I can ping across two hosts on the same L2 VNI and I’m using anycast gateway with symmetric routing which requires configuring a L3 VNI and a dedicated VRF.

My specific deployment has some networks with VXLAN/Anycast and other that will remain as traditional SVIs/HSRP etc.

The issue on hand is that I need to be able to route between VXLAN networks and legacy non VXLAN networks but the L3VNI is on a separate VRF how can I do this unless I add the legacy networks to the same VRF.

Please advise

Hi

Just to make sure i understood correctly, legacy and vxlan are in 2 different vrfs right?

If so, you'll need to leak routes between those vrfs or use an upstream device like router or firewall.

Thanks
Francesco
