hello

on Vmware Virtual distributed switch there are limitation of 8192 ports from vmware KB

what is the limitation/recomandation for Nexus1000V architecture ?

what is the Nexus1000V maximum number of ports supported ?

The Nexus 1000V has a limit of 2048 veth ports per installation.

You can define up to the DVS maximum but you can never more then 2048 active at one time.

I just posted an article on some new features with 1.4a that details some new settings when dealing with max-ports on the DVS side.
