WS-C2960X-48TD-L 1/3 stack member gets removed, have to hard reboot (unplug)

Hello

We have three members of the stack of the same switch type 2960X-48TD-L. One of the members keeps getting removed, We restart this member and it is ok (Unplug for 2 min), After some time we see that this happens again, now the fourth time (every 2-3 weeks. We would like to know what is causing the switch member to lose the connection / becoming unusable as such .We have suspected there is a DHCP snooping cutting in to suppress DHCP server running herein ( is ee this keeps a table, and it can grow large), however i would like to know how we can rule this out or in, and if this is the  the case prevent this  or whatever from crashing the member. IOS version is 15.2, switch hardware is hardware  V4.

Thank you

Thank you

Do you have 15.2(2)E3 or later - looks like some of these issues fixed, if this is not your version it is worth upgrade and try.

Make sure you take backup and read the release notes before upgrade.

What is the exact IOS version of the stack?

We see: at show version:
Switch Ports Model SW Version SW Image
------ ----- ----- ---------- ----------
* 1 52 WS-C2960X-48TD-L 15.0(2a)EX5 C2960X-UNIVERSALK9-M
2 52 WS-C2960X-48TD-L 15.0(2a)EX5 C2960X-UNIVERSALK9-M
3 52 WS-C2960X-48TD-L 15.0(2a)EX5 C2960X-UNIVERSALK9-M

I see there are newer versions to put in place as recommended by yourself.
I have gotten 152-4.E6.bin I assume you feel this may resolve the issue?

Thx

Yeah, IOS 15.0(2a)EX5 is not a matured IOS version.
Be careful when upgrading. There could be a slight chance the "reboot" command may not work and the stack may need a "hard" reboot (pull the power).
