Cisco Activities at WBA Wi-Fi Global Congress, San Francisco: Nov 6-7

WBA-550x212-10-9-12.jpgThe Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) is at the forefront of making Next Generation Hotspot networks a reality.  Cisco is actively involved in the NGH trials at the WBA, and we’re excited to see the WBA Wi-Fi Global Congress, a premier event, come to our backyard in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The WBA Wi-Fi Global Congress is the largest Service Provider Wi-Fi event in the industry. This is the chance for you to learn about deployment best practices from your peers and to explore how you can take advantage of recent carrier-grade Wi-Fi technology advances.

Cisco is a principal event sponsor and would like to invite you to join us in San Francisco November 6-7:

  • See our technology demonstrations
    • We’ll be demonstrating NGH running on top of our Wi-Fi CERTIFIED Passpoint products.
  • Listen to our subject matter experts
    • Cisco executives will be there to talk about what’s next for Wi-Fi - how to take advantage of the unique capabilities of Wi-Fi to deliver new services.
  • Meet with Cisco
    • Cisco subject matter experts will be there to discuss our vision on the future of Wi-Fi and how Cisco innovations in SP Wi-Fi enable this vision.

Tuesday 11/6

  • 9:00am Keynote: Harnessing the WiFi Opportunity with Kelly Ahuja (Cisco, Senior Vice President, General Manager, Mobile Internet Technology Group)
  • 12:40pm Extended Session: Deploying the Next Generation of Hotspots with Mark Grayson (Cisco)
