On February 3rd, 2015, the annual Cisco Visual Networking Index (VNI) Global Mobile Data Traffic Forecast and Methodology Update will be released. This report is an ongoing effort to forecast the growth of global and regional mobile IP traffic. The study also examines trends associated with mobile data consumption worldwide and regionally, including the primary growth drivers (number of mobile users, mobile devices and M2M connections, mobile network speeds, and application use) over the next 5 years.
