Hello Everyone,

Does anyone have any thoughts on the recent ruling against the FCC on Net Neutrality?

I have to admit that I was surprised by the ruling.  It will be interesting what the mobile operators do moving forward based on this ruling, and what the FCC does as well.  I'm sure there is not the end to the legal dealings, but it definitely opens up a new chapter.

Hey Jon,

I plan to write a blog post on this topic within the next couple of days. My first impression, without doing further research, is the Comcast may have won the battle but will ultimately lose the war, not only for itself, but other operators as well. The issue is that company's like Comcast should pick their battles carefully. The FCC knows this not an end-all ruling and now may be forced to prove a point, which may have the opposite effect that Comcast originally intended.

This ruling is only the beginning.

Tend to agree that with large political egos at stake, doing what makes the most sense, or what is fair, could fall vicitim to tit for tat political pandering.
