2012 went by quickly and has proven to be a busy year for the Mobility space. With the New Year 2013 here, I would like to highlight the Top 12 Blog Posts of 2012. Before going directly to the list, here is a quick snapshot of what was discussed this year. Events wise, key takeaways from Mobile World Congress 2012 and coverage on LTE architecture demos at Vodafone Innovation Days took top spots for our community. Cisco's Stuart Taylor, Managing Director in the Service Provider practice of IBSG (Internet Business Solutions Group), released two blog series this year titled The Future of Mobility and Cisco IBSG Mobility Insights. Cisco IBSG Mobility Insights highlights findings from a Cisco IBSG online survey of U.S. mobile users and includes predictions for key changes in the mobile industry over the next two years (2012-2014). The availability of Unified MPLS for Mobile Transport (UMMT) -1.0, 2.0, 3.0 - also took 3 of the top 12 spots. The SP Mobility Community’s guest bloggers offered a wide range of topic coverage from small cells to insights and opinions on TELCOs, network offloading and MVNOs. 2011 was a year where Cisco’s Brian Walsh, Senior Marketing Manager, Monetization blog series gathered lots of views from the community that year so it is to no surprise one of his blog posts from that series still holds a top spot for 2012. Below is the full list:
I look forward to 2013 and providing you with full insider knowledge on all things Mobility, including coverage and updates on the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2013.
