Overview

Netrounds is a programmable, active test and service assurance platform for physical, hybrid, and virtual networks. Netrounds is a Cisco SolutionsPlus Partner and provides out-of-the-box capabilities to actively test and monitor performance metrics for L2/L3 connections, as well as voice, video, and data services.

This demonstration uses Cisco® Network Service Orchestrator (NSO) to automatically perform active service activation testing at the time of provisioning, as well as enabling active monitoring of the delivered service. In addition, the demonstration shows how Netrounds detects violations to promised SLAs and triggers NSO to initiate service troubleshooting and healing, effectively achieving closed-loop automation.

Netrounds	Provides out-of-the-box capabilities to measure KPIs across network layers and domains. Sends active traffic on the data plane between software-based active test agents.
NSO	A single, network-wide interface to all network devices and all network applications and services. Automation of service provisioning and initiation of service activation testing through Netrounds, as well as enablement of active quality monitoring.
VIRL	Hosts Netrounds Test Agents, Cisco CSR 1000v, network impairment generator, and network servers for SIP, IPTV, HTTP, and DNS. Multi-purpose network virtualization platform. Provides an easy way to build, configure, and test new or existing network topologies.
