Overview
Cisco Virtualized Packet Core (VPC) is the productized version of the StarOS software, which has so far been deployed on dedicated hardware platforms, but can now also run inside a virtual machine. This dCloud demo provides access to a fully configured and functional Evolved Packet Core network, where StarOS provides the MME, SGSN, SGW, PGW, and GGSN functions, while surrounding network elements are implemented through simulators such as HSS, PCRF, OCS, LIMS, and CGF.
