Cisco UCS Manager 2.2 Overview and Cisco UCS Diagnostics Tool
This is an overview of primary features of a significant release of Cisco UCS Manager. The Cisco UCS Manager 2.2(1) release delivers several important features and major enhancements in the fabric, compute, and operational areas.
Second, we will present an overview of the new Cisco UCS Diagnostics Tool. The Cisco UCS Blade Server Diagnostics Tool is a standalone offline diagnostics solution to verify the health of hardware components on Cisco UCS blade servers. The tool provides a variety of tests to exercise and stress the different hardware subsystems on the servers, including memory and CPU. It provides the option to run quick test checks after a hardware fix or a replacement. It also provides the option to run comprehensive tests for deeper stress tests and burn-in of new server hardware before deploying into production. The Cisco UCS Blade Server Diagnostics Tool is available free of charge.
