nss6000 and second network interface

Can anyone tell me how to make the nss6000 NOT be link 1 + 2?  I have 2 "non-internet" networks (192.168.1.xx and 192.168.3.xx) that I would like to be able to access shares on.

Is this possible?  I don't see anywhere in the config to remove the 1 + 2 setting.

I am running the 1.21.0 firmware.

Thanks!

John,

Sorry for the bad news but there isn’t a way to separate NIC bonding on the NSS6000.

Thanks for the prompt response. What was the point of even putting the second card in then?

A possible firmware upgrade that never occured?

I can't imagine any reason to have dual NIC's if you can't IP them seperatly.

It was for load-balancing giving you more bandwidth, the other option was fail-over so if one nic failed you would could still stay up and running until a replaced arrived.
