                  I want to configure my RVS4000 router but find that I am unable to login to the 192.168.1.1 site to do so. The "admin" username and password is not working. Maybe I do not have to as my internet connection seems to be working fine. Thanks for any help.

Hello Darrell, if the router is brand new, the default admin/admin should work.  If the default credentials do not work, the only result would be to factory reset the unit by holding the reset button for about 30 seconds.

Thank you Thomas. Reseting did indeed work. Several years ago, I replaced this router in favor of a wireless one. That is why the "admin" login did not work.

faviconIn these cases, if you are unable to access the first page of the modem, we recommend that you check the sites to help you sign in. Visit this site https://19216811.site/ to reset your modem and find the user name and password set at the factory.

Cisco is a well-designed, dual-band 802.11ac 4×4 router that is very suitable for family use. Thanks to its 2.6Gbps connection speed, integrated parental control and usage planning, it has managed to become one of the routers trusted by parents.

Have you tried restoring the modem? (Put the end of a paper clip in the small and recessed button on the back and hold it for 60 seconds...) However, once you do this, the modem will return to its factory settings, so you can no longer connect to the internet; You will need to enter the web interface of the modem and re-enter the adsl settings. If you are having trouble accessing, click the http://192.168.1.1/ login link to access the admin panel. On this website you will find answers to all your login problems. You can also try other most used ip addresses such as http://192.168.1.100/, http://192.168.O.1/, http://192.168.1.254, http://10.0.0.1. In another answer, the virus program you use may not allow it, you can check whether the virus program blocks it from your firewall settings. Then you can learn the default Cisco passwords here.

Other steps;

  1. Some of the older modems do not work correctly with some web browsers. Check your browser is up to date.
  2. "Please Wait While Page Loading" in your browser. if you receive a warning; Click the compatibility view icon to the right of your address line.
  3. Your browser's caching system may save the problematic page in its memory. It will show you the same page even if you fix the problem.
  4. Therefore, you may need to clear Browser data from your browser's History settings.
  5. Try using a different web browser than the one you use to access the modem interface. For example Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox etc. You can try to log in to the modem interface with browsers.

Reset WiFi Router settings using 19216811.is the best solution. For 192.168.1.1 login details, You can enter Username: Admin and Password: Admin which worked fine for me to access the Gateway 192.168.1.1
