Cisco RV042 PPPoE not working

Hello,

 

I have a simple setup, a DSL modem configured in bridge and a cable from the LAN of DSL modem connected to WAN1 of RV042.

I'm trying to configure a PPPoE connection on RV042 but doesn't come up. In the system logs I can see only the message: [pppoe] sending PADI.

When I connect the cable to my laptop the PPPoE is UP.

On the WAN1 of RV042 configuration I choosed PPPoE, filled the username, the password and all other settings are defaults.

Also I upgraded the firmware to the latest version available today (v4.2.3.06).

What I'm doing wrong?
