I just started getting this error a few weeks ago. Weird because I have the same setup at a different location.
A socket operation was attempted to an unreachable network (80038013)
Basically, there is a time clock installed, that need to communicate with a specific computer. Users clock in and clock out, those time punches get downloaded to a clock and then get downloaded to a computer with an SQL Express database.
Now the clock cannot communicate with the computer over the network it seems.
I have tried connecting it directly. Then it works,
I have tried disabling the firewall on the computer, for all area, Domain, Private and Public. Still doesn't work.
Have given the time clock a static IP address created a static route using Static DHCP for both the computer and the Time clock.
I think something is blocking the clock from communicating with the computer. Only thing I can think of is the router.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
