I'm hoping someone can help a little. I have experience with networking in general but not much Cisco unfortunately.
I have been tasked with configuring a Cisco C1111-4p Router for a newly installed 100mbps leased line (Cables Only). The leased line is active and the Adva Fibre media converter has been installed.
We have been given the following information from the leased line provider but they are not being overly helpful on Router configuration.
The information we have been given is (IP information Hidden):
WAN Connection Details
WAN IP: xx.xxx.xx.133
Gateway: xx.xxx.xx.132
VLAN-ID: XXX4
No-NAT
LAN IP Details
Network Address: xx.xxx.xxx.128
Broadcast Address: xx.xxx.xxx.135
Subnet Mask: xxx.xxx.xxx.248
Router IP Address (Default Gateway) : xx.xxx.xxx.129
IP Range: xx.xxx.xxx.130 to xx.xxx.xxx.134
My questions are:
On the WAN, Im not sure how I apply the VLAN ID or Assign the Gateway.
On the LAN, How do i assign the Router IP Address does this have to be assigned to a single interface?
