Is there a VPN client for Windowa 10 for the WPR500 router?

Is there a VPN client for Windows 10 for the WRP500 router.  The built-in Windows 10 VPN client does will not connect to the router.  Thanks.

What type of VPN connection are you trying to establish?

I don't have any personal experience with the WRP series, but it could be that you are running into the same issues people have experienced on the RV series routers with L2TP and PPTP connections, where by default Windows and the Cisco router can't come to an agreement about what IPSEC transforms to use. (and that you have to use PAP authentication)

There's a guide of how to set up L2TP on the RV340 here on the forum.

Re: Is there a VPN client for Windowa 10 for the WPR500 router?

Thanks for your reply.  This VPN allows users to access the company file server remotely.  Previously, we used a Cisco WRVS4400N router.  This router had a downloadable Quick VPN Cisco client which we installed on each user's laptop.  However, this router and client were only compatible with Windows 7.  Now with all the new PCs running Windows 10, We cannot get the built-in Windows 10 VPN to communicate with the new WPR500 router.  Not sure how to make this work.  Thanks if you have any other suggestions.
