I just purchased a WRVS4400N v2 and it works fine for my one main SSID to my lab. I want to set it up so that i have a second SSID for guests, giving it its own subnet, dhcp and then routing it out to the internet with no access to the lab subnet or lab ssid
i have setup two SSID (SSID1 and SSID2)
I have setup a second VLAN (VLAN2)
I have associated SSID2 with VLAN2
I have disabled DHCP for VLAN since I already have DHCP running on Windows 2008 server
I have setup the DHCP scopy for VLAN2 as 192.168.2.1 and preset DNS for my ISP (Comcast)
I can see both SSID1 and SSID2 and connect to both BUT I am getting DHCP ip from the windows 2008 server still...
what did i miss?
thx

Do you have Inter-VLAN routing disabled on the router?
