I may be wrong but I sense a lack of robustness in these communities. If one can't elicit a response for a simple question then it's not working very well. Is there a Cisco presence or is this just a web tool going fallow? My impression is that companies with communities do participate by having at least one "champion" working the board. That helps keep it alive and adds value.
Depends on the subject matter and depends on the platform. I'm no "expert" with Cisco's SMB portfolio. I'm no user of any of Cisco's SMB platform. I, and a few others, are not paid by Cisco to be here full time.
Leo Lahoo: It's not surprising and it's good for those groups you are able to help. I'm sure that some groups are more robust than others. So, all that may be. I'm not sure how it applies. Some encouragement seems to be needed. I don't know how to make it happen besides commenting.
