Hi,
in the Moment we have an Cisco 876 in Place and we made a line upgrade from 2Mbit ADSL to a VDSL2 100Mbit/40Mbit Line. We recognized, that the Router isn´t able handle the line speed capabilities. We only achieve 18Mbit up+down maximum, the CPU is simply overloaded. Is there any possibility of tuning this router ?
We use these features:
- IPSEC VPN
- IOS SPI Firewall
- SSH Access
Question: Would the Cisco C886VA still be a product usable for this purpose? We simply need a replacement to support VDSL2 Speeds with mentioned features activated.
According to this matrix, even 891 doesn´t support 100Mbit or do I misunderstand the data?

And additionally, this documents states, that firewall throughput for Cisco 891 is 43Mbit at maximum.

So is there any 8xx Series, that can provide up to 100Mbit throughput? I mean, if VDSL2 G.Fast is supported, they should be able to handle that?!
