RV016 - cannot manage via http anymore

I have an older RV016 that has been running 3.0.0.19-tm.  Yesterday I tried to upgrade the firmware to 4.0.3.03-tm, but the operation timed out.  After an hour or so my browser still displayed "page cannot be displayed".  When I navigated back to the main screen, it still showed 3.0.0.19-tm.

I supposed I should have quit while I was ahead, but then I loaded the 3.0.2.01-tm firmware.  This was successful.  However, I was getting SSL certificate errors (not from a trusted authority), so I turned off SSL in the router options.

Now I cannot connect to the router via http or https.  I can connect via telnet.  Is there a way to re-enable SSL from the command line?  Or is there another way to restore web management short of doing a factory reset?  (I have several VPN connections that would be painful to recreate.)

Thanks!

It's recommended that the https option on Firewall>General page should remain enabled in a production environment. Disabling that option will affect QuickVPN service and potentially other side effect.

Thanks Tekliu - how can I re-enable the https option now that I cannot use the web interface?  Are there commands to do it via telnet?

After https is disabled, http should be available for managing the router. You might want to call the Support Center to get additional help.

Firmware 4.x requires hardware version 3. It appears that you have a Linksys branded RV016 (hardware version 2 most likely.)
