Would someone please tell me if the Quick VPN Utility for the RV042 works properly with Windows 7 pro 64 bit? Is the VPN 5.x client the needed for the 64 bit OS?
Thank you for posting. I have used the QuickVPN client with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit for over a year without issue. I usually connect to my WRV210, although I have also used it extensively with a WRV200 and sometimes with an RV220W. The VPN 5.x client will not work with any of the Small Business routers with the exception of the SA500 series.
Yes, works just fine, have many of my clients connecting to RV042s both old Linksys ones and newer Cisco branded ones with no issues, using Windows 7 Pro and Windows 7 Home
