I'm old fashioned. With my old Cisco 3620 routers, I could easily go into emacs and type a config by duplicating records and changing one or two characters. Then I could download the config to the router and reboot.
With the RV042G, I would like to do the same. However, when I save the startup config file, the resulting file is not editable. Is there a way to convert it to something I can edit?
Please note that adding rules to the firewall is very cumbersome in the browser as it defaults all of the entries after each rule is added when, at least for me, I only want to change the port from rule to rule - and when I enable to second WAN, I will want to copy all of the rules again and just change WAN1 to WAN2.
