RV082 - Cisco 2900 gateway to gateway VPN

Hello,

I'm having troubles to setup a vpn connection between my main router (cisco 2901) and a branch router RV082

When  the rv082 was with a dynamic ip address it worked, both end could ping  and access the other side, but now with a static ip address on both  sides I'm only able to make the vpn connection, but cannot acccess/ping  any device

here is the config:

2901

LAN 192.168.110.0/24

RV082 in gateway mode

LAN 10.10.96.0/24

on the rv082 I have only one static route to the default gw, disabled fw for testing, wan blocking disabled also.

here is the routing table on the rv082

x.x.x.56255.255.255.252*40eth1
10.10.96.0255.255.255.0*0eth0
default0.0.0.0x.x.x.5710eth1

tunnel

Connected

3DES/MD5/2

10.10.96.0
255.255.255.0

192.168.110.0
255.255.255.0

Any help?

Thanks for the update.

Hello All,

Hello All,

I make an Up on the topic cause I can't do any route with a VPN on RV082.

I've tried the Annexe D (p 152) of the Administration guide of the V082 Cisco Router with the following configuration :

Site A

Network : 192.168.1.0

Gateway : 192.168.1.1/24

WAN1 : 209.165.200.226/24

Site B

Network : 192.168.2.0

Gateway : 192.168.2.1/24

WAN1 : 209.165.200.236/24

The VPN is well connected on the both sides.

I did the Advanced routing configuration :

For RV082 Router1 (Site A) :

Destination IP : 192.168.2.0

Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0

Default Gateway : 209.165.200.236

Hop count : 8

Interface : WAN1

For RV082 Router2 (Site B) :

Destination IP : 192.168.1.0

Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0

Default Gateway : 209.165.200.226

Hop count : 8

Interface : WAN1

RESULTS :

On the LAN A , the DHCP gave for the host 192.168.1.101

Ping 192.168.1.1 from this host is OK

Ping 192.168.2.1 (LAN B Gateway) from this host is also OK

On the LAN B , the DHCP gave for the host 192.168.2.100

Ping 192.168.2.1 from this host is OK

Ping 192.168.1.1 (LAN 1 Gateway) from this host is also OK

But If I try a ping 192.168.2.100 (LAN B) from the 192.168.1.101 LAN A host,  I can't reach it !

Same result in the other side.

I saw in the post messages forum that the static routing could be the problem so I've tried the automatic routing both in the Gateway and Router configuration, no more success ...

Does any one could help me ?

Thank in advance

Regards

Laurent
