Hi all,
i'm about to buy a new rv082 and i need that for the following purpose, i'd like to know if scenario i think is possible and (eventually) how to realize that.
Existing infrastructure:
- LAN with class 172.16.32.0/16
- default gw 172.16.32.1
- all clients in this lan have a static ip address and are also configured to use an internal proxy (172.16.32.100:8080)
I have to add the new router (probably rv082) to this infrastructure with the following scenario:
- wan 1 settings: ip address 172.16.32.10, subnet 255.255.0.0, gw 172.16.32.1
- act as a dhcp server for a different class (192.168.2.0/24)
- all clients connected to this one have to use proxy of existing lan (172.16.32.100:8080) for outbound connections (to internet)
is rv082 able to accomplish such a configuration? if yes how? (maybe some static route?!? NAT?!?)
