RV110W Speed WAN to LAN

TestSW
Level 1
Level 1

We have used the RV110W as VPN server and general firewall for some years, with an 50/5 Mbps internet connection. We have now got an fiber-modem, 300/300 and I would expect to be able to reach 100/100 on the LAN side of the router (on the fiber modem I can get 300/300 without problems). But we only get 45/45. The router should be fast ethernet capable or have I misunderstood something?

Hi,

Thank you for your answer.

No, I haven't and I don't quite understand why. The modem in fact is an
unmanaged switch (ZTE F680) which has the RV110W as DMZ (so all traffic
from outside goes to the VPN).

But I might have misunderstood something?

Regards

Hi  testafsw

I agreed the router should give you at least around 70, 80, have you tried to place a unmanage Sw. between your ISP modem and the RV110W?

Thank you
