Hello community,
is it possible to use the DDNS feature (dyndns.com) behind a 2nd NAT router?
Network is as follows:
INTERNET - NAT-Router (unknown device) - Cisco RV-180 (NAT) - Clients
Kind Regard,
Michael

It works but not as expected, the Cisco will get on WAN side a private IP from the NAT Router and will publish that private IP in the DNS, so DDNS gets an unrouted private IP, no access possible from the Internet

I have this problem too...
Is there a way so that DynDNS updates to real IP address instead of NAT?
I used to have this same problem even with Windows dyndns client... so I changed to No-IP but this RV Routers don't support No-IP.
No-IP acts itself as a stunt server and updates to real IP address.

If you put your dyndns client in front of the rv180 or one the nat router's dmz, you should get the correct IP address. I usually use the DMZ port on a nat router when putting a vpn router behind a nat one--this solves a lot of the IP address issues for the vpn router.
