Hi there,

does anybody know of a comparison/review of these two products? I've got the chance to upgrade my current RV042 to the RV220W just paying the difference and I would like to know your opinion before I take the plunge. Would you do it?

Thanks a lot in advance,

Marc

I can find product reviews by Tim Higgins at SmallNetBuilder.com for both products. Overall they are good products with different feature set. RV042 is known for its longevity of its lifecycle. Stable VPN and dual WAN support is its primary differentiators. Except for dual WAN ports, RV220W offers more features, in particular selectable dual band WiFi, SSL VPN, and tagged VLANs. Being a new product, it's expected to see more frequent firmware update to RV220W.
