RV260 router configuration

Hi all.

I have a new RV260 router running on 1.0.00.16 system image.

In short. First thing I need to do is connecting to a serial console of the device. I connected my device via the serial port on 115200,8, N,1. I think my settings are correct because I see the booting process on my console. After a successful boot, I can manage my device via the web interface, but the serial console does not respond. No reaction to my input.

I am trying to use the console in order to setup subinterfaces. That is the second thing. According to the documentation, it is possible.

"

Cisco IOS software supports four types of virtual interfaces;
ā€¢loopback
ā€¢null
ā€¢subinterface
ā€¢tunnel

"

But for now, I am not sure if this (setting up subinterfaces) is possible at all on this router.

Hi Yaro,

I read in another post here that the CLI in RV260 is not enabled yet. This was from a Cisco employee and another poster.

HTH.
