I don't know if what I'm trying to do is possible with the RV-320. I want to access my LAN from outside the firewall by assigning a LAN IP address to my Surface 3 tablet when it's connected through the RV-320.
I've been able to set up remote access so that I can log in through a remote web browser session. But when I try to activate the Virtual Passage -- which I >>think<< is what I need -- one of two things happens:
- - under Google Chrome, nothing happens. There's a brief status message in the web browser's footer, and then I'm left at the "click here to activate Virtual Passage" page.
- - under IE 11 (the Surface 3 is running Windows 10), I am told that the ActiveX control that the RV-320 tries to install requires IE v5 or later.
Is it possible to remotely access my LAN through the RV-320 the way I'm trying to do it? If so, how?
