In gateway mode with NAT/PAT enabled, can hosts on the LAN use the WAN IP address to loop back to forwarded ports?
Such access would allow testing of web servers forwarded through ports 80, 443, or 8080 and other services from the LAN using the same IP address that WAN users would see. WAN IP access would also allow the same IP configuration, such as bookmarks and DNS addresses, to be used for hosts both inside and outside, particularly for laptops and other mobile devices that live in both environments.
So far, I have only been able to access port forwarded services from the WAN, outside of the LAN.
