I have a RVS4000 v1 Firmware Version: V22.214.171.124 and the past couple of days i have had to Reboot it a few times after a lose of internet connectivity. I also had to reboot it because a VPN user was unable to establish a connection. Each time Rebooting the router fixed the issue but this is not ideal. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The internet connection is from a Cable provider with a Dynaminc Ip.
One thing I would suggest is to check your logs to see if you've had any DoS attack of any sort. If this occurs, IPS can shut down the WAN port to protect the router. Check and see if, during these periods of outage, you still have access on the local network.
Check this first and see if that could be affecting your situation.
