SPA Cisco phones rebooting randomly with SRP521W router

Hi,

We've come across an issue where SPA502/504 phones reboot randomly due to the DHCP lease/renewal that are connected to an SRP521W router with the latest firmware.

The phone has Software Version: 7.4.7 Hardware Version: 1.0.2(0001)

Here are syslogs taken from the phone and router:

2011.05.04-09:56:42 <10.0.16.1>: <13> udhcpd: DHCP Wed, 04 May 2011 09:57:07 received DISCOVER from E0:5F:B9:81:9D:E9

2011.05.04-09:56:43 <10.0.16.1>: <13> udhcpd: DHCP Wed, 04 May 2011 09:57:08 sending OFFER to 255.255.255.255 with 10.0.17.23

2011.05.04-09:56:44 <10.0.16.1>: <13> udhcpd: DHCP Wed, 04 May 2011 09:57:09 received REQUEST from E0:5F:B9:81:9D:E9

2011.05.04-09:56:44 <10.0.16.1>: <13> udhcpd: DHCP Wed, 04 May 2011 09:57:09 sending ACK to 10.0.17.23

2011.05.04-09:56:44 <10.0.17.23>: <134>System started: ip@10.0.17.23, reboot reason:W4

I've set the DHCP lease to be 8640 mins for both VLAN1 and VLAN100.

Would anyone have experienced somethings similar and know how to avoid these reboots?  Maybe I've overlooked a setting on the SRP521W router?

Thanks in advance!

Marvin

Hi Marvin,

Can you raise this as a case with the Small Business Support Center?
