Hi all!
My customer bought a SRP526W some time ago, but now he changed is phone line from ISDN to POTS.
Is it possible to connect the router provided by the ISP to the SRP526W in order to keep using all the features of SRP526W (Wireless, etc.)
Many thanks and Marry Christmas in advance.

Are you using the SRP to terminate the dsl connection or are you using the ethernet WAN?
Since your provider installed a new router, I am assuming it is terminating your DSL connection, if that is the case then you can just use the ethernet WAN on the SRP connecting to the ethernet LAN of the ISP device
Here is a loose interpretation. If you want to continue using the VPN services, the ISP firewall must be on a different LAN subnet than the SRP. Additionally, it needs to support the VPN passthrough and you should also port forwarding the respective VPN ports... IPSec using 500 and 4500. The SRP does support NAT-T for the site to site VPN so this should be okay.

Hi Jose, you shouldn't need to configure to authenticate to the DSL service unless the ISP device is bridge product for you. If it is a NAT product, you need to configure the SRP WAN ethernet. Page 21 of the admin guide has information for this.

Hi Jose, this should be fine. So as long as the LAN subnet of the SRP is different than the LAN subnet of the ISP product. Wireless and phone connections should work okay. Be aware of the fact, some things like simple port forwarding or VPN may become a bit more troublesome and dependent of what the ISP router supports. But for basic connectivity functionality, shouldn't be a problem.

Hi Tom,
Many thanks for your reply.
All i have to do is to change Switch Setting from ENABLE do DISABLE under Administradtion menu, and keep the ADSL PPPoE Authentication setup.
Correct?
Many thanks.
