If I ping my SRP527 from the internet it wont answer. Any previous ADSL gateway/router I have used had an option to Enable/'Disable Remote Ping' but I can't find it on the SRP527.
As this is a fairly unreliable router, which locks up every few weeks, I want to be able to ping it from the Internet on my ADSL static IP address to see if I need to get someone to restart it for me so I can use my VPN when away on business. I can't find any option to enable this. I have remote access disabled as it easier to administer ithe network via VPN but that does not seem to make any difference.
Any ideas?
