WRV200 VPN Router and IPad

Hello, is it possible to make a VPN Connection with my Ipad and a WRV200 Vpn Router ??

The WRV200 is in my Company and i can start a VPN Connection with my Laptop. So this works.

But is it also possible with my Ipad, so that i can get access to my NAS (Which is in my Company also)??

Hi Albert, unfortunately this is not possible with WRV200. If you use e. g. Synology NAS, you can use PPTP VPN server, which is available within Synology DSM 4.0 or more recent. In this case, you should forward PPTP port (TCP 1723) to Synology NAS. You can use any other PPTP server, e. g. when you have Windows Server or another PPTP server inside your LAN. When you want to use IPsec VPN with iOS devices, you need genuine IOS Cisco device or SA500 family device. Also pfSense is able to connect with iPad or iPhone via IPsec VPN.
