WRV210 fails to provide an IP for Wireless devices

Hello,

We have connected a WRV210 to a 2Wire adsl modem-router. The connection is like this: 2Wire modem-router with IP 192.168.1.254 has DHCP service enabled and connects to the Internet port of the WRV210, which has Internet Connection Type set to Automatic Configuration - DHCP; Local IP address for the WRV210 is set to 192.168.5.1 in order to create a different network. Local DHCP server is enabled in WRV210. When connecting to the 2Wire, the WRV210 acquires correctly an IP (192.168.1.67) from the 2wire. Now, when connecting (wired) to the WRV210, all devices acquire 192.168.5.xxx  IPs and are able to network and connect to internet properly.

However, when activating Wireless on WRV210, even without security enabled, we are not able to have any wireless device to connect properly. We have set SSID1 name (for example Cisco), network mode to wireless-g, TX rate 54Mbps, Channel 11 (tried 6 first), SSID broadcast enabled. Wireless devices may connect but indicate they do using auto-IP. They never get an IP from the WRV210. What are we missing? Please help.

Arturo
