Hi,

I see a lots of problem associated with wirless connectivity with

WRVS4400N, with following config

Firmware version - Firmware Version: V1.1.13

Wireless connectivity - G/N Mixed

Auth - WPA2 AES

Everything else default and AUTO,

Problem:

The end devices suddenly drop connection. Wired connection works just fine. The DROPPED device can not be reconnected. On MAC I get AUTH time out. I see the SSID being broadcasted from my HTC wireless analyster so radio may not be the problem.

I changed to set the speed to G only or N only but not avail.

ONLY way to recover from this is rebooting the router.

Any help on finding what this problem is?

thx

Nimish

Nimish,

Yes if this is a version 1 router Cisco had a lot of problems with version 1 and were swapping out V1 for V2. Now i don't know if they are still doing that since most version 1 devices should be out of hardware warranty. It was the chip set within router causing wireless problems with certain Intel wireless adapters. you could call support and see if your device is still under hardware warranty and if it is see if you could get it swapped for a V2.

Yeah,, this kind of sucks, never got the notification of replacement of the hardware.. I guess there is no workaround?

Thx
