License utm for production et backup firewall isa550

Hi,

i have ISA 550 firewall and license utm 3 years. Firewall work and is operational now.

The client want buy new firewall for hardware spare.

Question : I can use the first license buy with production firewall and install in case ? or i need buy new another license ?

Thank you for reaching Small Business Support Community.

As I understand license files are not transferable so for the spare ISA550 you would have to purchase a new one by contacting a local Cisco Partner or your Cisco sales representative and inquire about the Cisco Comprehensive Security 3 year Subscription for ISA550 Series.
