Tracking down problem computers

I recently signed up fro ProtectLink to lessen the amount of undesireable activity that happens through my network with an RV016 router.  This service has been dutifully blocking access to sites, but the next step that I would like to take is to see what computers are doing the things that they should not be doing.  Many  of the blocked sites are hitting what TrendNet calls disease vectors and I would like to make sure that the computers are not harboring a harmful virus or trojan.  It seems that the logical way to do this is to look at the log.  When I look at the log there are far more blocking events than there are sites blocked by ProtectLink.  I would like to reconcile this discrepancy.  I can think of some reasons that this could be true, but I would like to know what the real reason is.  Related to this is there anyway to see what filter tripped the block?
