Are there any issues to note when creating VPN's with RV series routers to ASA's? Anyone done this successfully, or had any problems i should consider? Want simple "tunnel everything" vpn to the ASA in the centre.
You have to configure the tunnel on the RV0xx router and then match those configuration on the ASA55xx perfectly. I have seen customer have some problems with configuration on ASA55xx . Call tac and open a support case for ASA5505 - After opening with TAC 1-800-553-2447 You can also call SBSC @ 1-866-606-1866 and open a support case on RV0xx if need be.
Thanks for your reply. I've 12 years of configuring PIX and ASA VPN's, but never with the RV series, or indeed the SRP500 series. I'm looking at these as I've got a client looking for a vpn using the SMB price point products, and want to ensure interoprability with the ASA.
Sounds like it will work ok for a simple setup, thanks.
