SBCS System Release: Applications that has been fully tested as a part of a SBCS System Release. These applications are officially supported by Cisco TAC. Please refer to SBCS Solutions Page for a list of 3rd party applications tested with the latest SBCS release.

Unvalidated: Applications not yet been fully tested or supported by Cisco TAC, and therefore not officially supported by Cisco. These applications are marked red on this page. Please read the notes for each application to determine if this functionality is suitable for your deployment and support requirements.

FAQ

What do I need to order for using Nokia Intellisync Call Connect?

The Cisco Smart Business Communications System supports the Nokia Dual Mode E-series cell phones. The user must purchase the Nokia Dual Mode E-series cell phones from a qualified Nokia dealer and must purchase the software license for the Nokia Skinny Client Control Protocol (SCCP) client, which is installed on the Nokia E-series phones to enable communication over the WLAN infrastructure to the Unified 500 Series. The base unit includes the Unified Communications Manager Express software and the Cisco Unified IP Phone user licenses (UL). When ordering the Nokia SCCP license for Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express, use the spare SKU, where the phone model number SKU includes an equals sign (=) at the end to avoid the purchase of a duplicate user license. License SKUs and List Price for Nokia SCCP licenses are on Table 6 of the Image:padlock.JPGCisco Smart Business Communication Systems Ordering Guide (PARTNER ONLY)

Cyberdata Callbox

Cyberdata has designed the“Callbox Unit", an affordable door access solution for SMB customers. The Callbox provides the following functionality for UC500/SBCS:

This solution is scheduled to go though Cisco Technology Developer Program lab testing in the near future. When this testing is complete, the Cyberdata solution will be supported by Cisco TAC.
