The Cisco Configuration Assistant (CCA) team is excited to announce the availability of the latest release of the product - CCA 1.9. CCA is the small business configuration tool that integrates voice, security, switching and routing  configuration. This intuitive GUI based application delivers the simplicity needed by Small business focused Value Added Resellers (VAR) and is the solution level tool that integrates the platforms within the Cisco Smart Business Communications System (SBCS).

The CCA 1.9 release includes major enhancements to improve configuration of voice, security, wireless and system features of the platforms within SBCS.

Some of the feature highlights in this release include:

Voice
- Call blast groups
- Enhanced Auto Attendant with support for multiple Auto Attendants, separate menus and prompts for open and closed business hours, submenus, prompt and script management, and prompt recording
- Schedules for Business Hours, Night Service, and Holidays
- Country-specific dial plan templates for the following locales: Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, North America, New Zealand & Spain
- Customizable MS Excel template for outbound dialplan
- Night Service with either call forward number or night service bell
- Support for Cisco IP Phone SPA525G
- Support for additional SIP trunk providers
- Multiple volume options for default Music on Hold (MOH). On/Off options for external MOH port & MoH for internal calls
- Support for Live Record & Live Reply Voicemail applications
- Ease-of-use enhancements for voice features such as huntgroups, call blocking & outbound caller-ID

Security
- Cisco Secure Router 520 Series URL Filtering
- Cisco Secure Router 520 Series Intrusion Prevention System (IPS)

Wireless
- Wireless Setup Wizard for initial installation and configuration of wireless network settings for the Cisco UC500 platform, Cisco SPA525G IP phones, and up to two external Cisco AP521

System
- Auto-upgrade from prior CCA releases to CCA 1.9
- CLI Post view for voice features - view a log of the voice IOS CLI commands applied to the UC500
- Cleanup UC500 system flash during upgrade
- Troubleshooting log support for SR500

In summary, with CCA 1.9, highly requested feature enhancements have been made to further aid our partners to deploy Cisco small business solutions. The CCA team will continue to develop features and functionality as we learn more about our customers' needs.

CCA 1.9 is now available on cisco.com, and the release is backwards compatible with previous CCA releases.
