There have been many requests for enabling a version control system such as Subversion directly on the Smart Storage device. This document walks you through a process to enable Smart Storage as a Subversion SVN server. The process does invovle using the SSH/telnet command line. You should be comfortable with using a command line before proceeding.
Always backup your data before proceeding.
Since this is a user initiated add-on process, there is no official Cisco support for getting Subversion running on Smart Storage. If you have any questions or issues please post those to the support forum and hopefully the community can help support you.
