Objective

Monitoring an application helps in understanding the present network activity concerned with the particular application. This document explains how to monitoring NAT statistics and translations.

Applicable Devices

• UC500 Series Devices

Monitoring NAT

1. To monitor the NAT activities use the left panel to navigate to Monitor > Security > NAT.
2. A new window named NAT opens.
3. Select the device to be monitored from Hostname field.
4. The left display box named Statistics display the statistics related NAT, which is the output of the command show ip nat statistics.
5. The right display box named Translations shows current NAT translations, and is the output of command show ip nat translations.
6. The bottom display box named IP Route is the output of command sh ip route, displaying the routes available in memory of device.
7. Click Refresh to refresh the information displayed.
8. Click Ok to close the window and stop monitoring.
