We are delighted to announce that the Cisco Business Edition 60000 (BE6000) CSR11.0 release is now generally available.  We’ve also enhanced the value of the solution significantly with some changes to Business Edition Starter License Bundles.

From today you can now order a 35 User starter bundle with any new Business Edition 6000 – at the same price as the original 25 User bundles.  We’re really excited about this change, as we believe it will help make collaboration accessible to even more small and medium sized organizations.

Collaboration System Release (CSR) 11.0 features a number of enhancements that further improve the user experience, enhance the value of customer investments and make collaboration accessible to even more organizations by simplifying deployment and management.

Select highlights of CSR11.0 for Business Edition 6000 customers include:

·       Improved native audio conferencing experience

New Conference Now capabilities in Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Unified CM) 11.0 make it easier than ever to manage and join audio conferences

·       Enhanced value with native Emergency Call Handler in Unified CM

Provide basic, but essential call emergency handling capabilities for smaller deployments with new capabilities that are native to Unified CM 11.0.  For larger deployments and more advanced call handling capabilities Cisco Emergency Responder (CER) remains available as an additional application on BE6000M and BE6000H servers.

·       Simplified deployment and management with Prime Configuration Provisioning

Prime Collaboration Provisioning is at the heart of our strategy for simplifying the initial deployments and the on-going management of Business Edition 6000 solutions. In CSR11.0 Prime Collaboration Provisioning features an enhanced user interface that streamlines bulk uploads of configuration changes.

All Business Edition 6000 platforms are now available with CSR11.0 pre-installed and pre-configured applications.  Partners should contact their distributor regarding availability of the latest distributor-offered configure to order services (CTOP) for BE6000 CSR11.0

The version 11 offer has also now been updated to align CUWL offers across the business.

WebEx SaaS services have now been removed from BE6000 CUWL licenses.  CUWL Pro, now includes updated Personal Multiparty licenses.  As before, remember to order "FIRST-PRO" for first time CUWL-PRO orders to ensure that all video conferencing infrastructure licenses are included.

Hi,

Yes, the BE6000S has all you need for an installation of up to 150 handsets.  The FXO version comes complete with a 4 port card - although you can add more cards if you need to.

The only additional component required, other than the handsets themselves, are the PoE Ethernet switches required to connect them all together.

Licensing for the BE6000S is available via the R-CBE6K-K9 part number.

Regards,

Andy
