SPA525 phones cannot be paired with some select models of Plantronics after you have factory reset the phone.
Below are the symptoms:
- When fresh out of the box the phone and the headset pair fine without any problems.
- Once the SPA525G2 is factory reset the headset cannot be paired to the phone any more.
- It appears in the search list on the phone, but when you hit on connect it comes up with "pairing failed"
- However, both the headset and the phone can be paired to a mobile phone.
- Cannot reset the headset, as there is no known procedure per plantronics user manual
This is observed with the following headsets from Plantronics:
Plantronics Savi Go WH100

Use a different model of headset to not run into this issue.
