Q: Can the ESW520-24P switch with a total power budget of 180 watts support support 20 SPA5xx IP phones?

A: Yes

Details:

Cisco Product Engineers connected 21 SPA5xxG IP phones to an ESW 24 port switch.

With all 21 phones powered up and idle, the switch reported a total consumption of 63W out of the available 180W

Here is the PoE output per port and the phone models connected to each port

Nominal PoE draw  ~ 65W. Total budget = 180W
