Welcome to the Unified Communications 500 (UC500) Software Download page. This page contains the most recent software for UC500 Series platform.
UC500 Software Packs The UC500 Software Packs contains large zip files with all necessary files for the UC500 Series platform. The zip file contains multiple TAR/archive files for each component of the UC500, including the IOS image for the UC520 platform, IP Phone firmware files, UC500 call processing (CME) supporting files, and UC500 Voice Mail.
Two types of Software Packs are available;
General Availability (GA) is the recommended version for most customer deployments and is considered the most stable version available. A GA release is pre-installed on the UC500 shipped from Cisco. GA releases are based on IOS T train releases and have had previous customer deployments using EA versions.
Early Adopter (EA) is a version where some new features (or hardware) are introduced, and the software has not had many customer deployments, and the software application could have issues. Based on IOS BU Special releases, Early Adopter versions are usually recommended for lab, demo or customer deployments where it is understood some risk exists for product or feature stability or functionality. Please note that not all new features in the EA pack are supported with CCA, manual CLI may be required with limited support by SB Support Center.
Both the GA and EA releases are both fully supported by the Cisco Support groups.
UC500-CUE localization files The CUE 3.0.3 localization files provide support for Mexican Spanish, French, US English, European Spanish, Latin American Spanish, British English, Canadian French, German, Italian, Danish, and Brazilian language.
