Configure System Log Settings on NSS300 Series Smart Storage Devices
Objective
Syslog is a method to collect messages from devices to a server running a syslog daemon. Logging to a central syslog server helps in aggregation of logs and alerts. Users can enable syslog to save the event logs and connection logs to a remote syslog server. Syslog is a standard for the forward of log messages in an IP network. This helps the user know when an error or event occurs in the device as well as when other devices are connected to it.
