The SCC Toolbar requires proper login information to be configured for the controlled IP phone (i.e. IP Phone User Name and IP Phone Password). This can be done either during the initial setup or later using the Options and clicking on the "CME TSP Setup Wizard".


Tipically, the installer will know the user name and the password assigned to each user/phone. In case of not know, there are several options to recover the password:

  • Used CCA for installation but did not configure any password. CCA assigns "12345" as the default password for the user accounts.
  • If there was a password configured, but not known, then you can use CCA and access: Configure -> Telephony -> Voice -> User Extensions, and enter a new password (works like password reset, for security reasons the old password cannot be seen but reset to a new one)


  • You can use Office Manager for the same purpose of resetting the user password
